A deck that is purpose built to beat Escape from Mount Gram solo, using only cards released until the Angmar Awakened cycle, no saga cards and one Core set.
The deck has met my goal of winning the scenario three times in a row. This wasn't very hard, this is the first version of a Glorfindel deck that came to mind and I didn't need to tweak it. The scenario probably requires a custom deck because it is so different.
Glorfindel is the starting hero. All the allies and the other two heroes go into the capture deck, with Idraen on top. Both her 3 Attack and her ability are most useful once you find her.
I went with a monosphere deck because it seemed the easiest way to be certain to be able to pay for everything no matter if you find your second hero early or not. There is a treachery that deals 1 damage to questing characters, so I avoided all the 2WP-1HP Spirit allies.
Now that I've played the scenario I'd probably take out 1 Lay of Nimrodel and 1 Out of Sight and add 2 more allies, but I won three in a row anyway so nevermind.
I found my second win thematically weird, where Stop the Executioners was the last encounter card staged. I cleared Southern Gate and won the quest, but I guess my friends are still going to be executed... Doesn't really feel like a win!
