This Hobbit deck wants to engage enemies, but can still quest, heal, and defend itself. Built for a 3-player group, with a Sentinel/Ranged deck and a Spirit/Lore deck to cover any weaknesses like cancelling effects, card draw, etc.
A few tricks to lower threat and/or increase enemy engagement cost so that you can safely engage enemies of a higher threat and trigger many cards on this condition to increase defense and attack needed to deal with them.
If you manage to keep your threat low enough you can even keep Gandalf around for a couple of turns to churn through a number of enemies that might pile up in front of you. Then you can take a break and make some Smoke Rings with the Old Toby and all the pipes, haha.
