unless the scenario dictates otherwise, getting out allies is the priority over attachments.
the Feint x3, the Ruling Ring x3, and Well-Preserved (WP = 1 free undefended attack every turn) are for the start of the game when Thalin is at his weakest. start w/ Well Preserved attached to the One Ring and Inner Strength in your hand (from the Grey Wanderer).
also: the Raiment of War x2 is for the warrior allies, not Thalin. (the One Ring is restricted..)

ps: write off the first three turns.. dedicate it to getting your board state up for round 4 and ever after. enjoy.
Any reason you didn't include Strider? Gives you an automatic +2 Willpower for the beginning and you don't exhaust to quest, freeing him up to defend attacks.
