I never liked Cirdan in the classic Cirdan Arwen Erestor / Galdor Noldor deck. I ended up storing him and putting SpGlorfindel in that slot and being much happier. But when I wanted to revisit him I realised he could be a very good Grey Wanderer. Narya gives him access to a permanent second sphere as well as the usual good things Narya does. This deck has played reasonably differently each time I've played it and has always been thought provoking to pilot. There isnt just one mulligan priority because Cirdan's card filtering will let you see more cards pretty quickly anyway. I keep an opening hand that has Elven Light only if there's also a way to get it into the discard pretty quickly (Glorfindel, Wandering Exile, To the Sea etc.). Otherwise I'm happy to see a Timely Aid, Resourceful or even Rivendell Scout + A Very Good Tale. The extensive sideboard probably shows how many different ways I troed to build this. Ultimately theres lots of ways you could take a Cirdan Grey Wanderer deck and they're all fun. Now I like the old Teleri a lot more.
Oh I want to try this. I was just thinking thru who might make an interesting Grey Wanderer, and was delighted to see a familiar creator name in the search!
