One of my favorite decks to play solo. The two secrecy 3 cost allies help scry the encounter deck. The Leadership events help get out a crazy number of high-cost allies. I'll leave it to the stat folks at CoTR to figure out the likelihood of Taking Initiative succeeding in round 1, but 38 cards here cost 3 or more. Timely Aid is definitely the best card to have in the starting hand, but A Very Good Tale is just as good.
I forget that Elf-stone is typically used in this deck.
