A good deck to keep your threat lower, and the threat of the other players too. Decent willpower, and it can defend a lot of rounds with Hobbit Sense and Out of Sight. It usually surprise people with very good results.

Is this deck meant to be played with other decks (since it runs Song of EƤrendil)? Which deck is good along with this one?

This deck makes not bad work with willpower, around 10-20wp usually in a game. It can engage 1 enemy too each round and 'feint' all enemies engaged during some rounds. And it keep threat very low, and help the other players to the same thing, allowing enemies in staging if needed. This deck is very versatil and other players can play what they want. For example, in 2 players, and the second as a combat player, it can work (however, this deck is not pure willpower deck, take care). In 3 players, when 1 player add willpower and the other combat, it runs a lot. The most epic moment is when it has enough resources and cards to play pipes, ring-smokes and out of sight each round. Usually you need to reshuffle the deck with wild-of-the-west

I love when you can just look at a decklist, instantly see why every card is in it, and yet think to yourself, "Man, I would not have come up with this idea." Excellent concept, and I may try bringing such a deck to my local Meetup soon.

I think I just found the perfect questing compliment for my low threat Ranger/Trap deck. Awesome.

I wonder how well it would perform with Frodo Baggins switched out with Fatty or Spirit Pippin? I'm thinking in terms of campaign mode where Frodo becomes unusable, which is the primary reason I don't often include him in builds.

Spirit pippin may not be viable. You have to change the lore version, and you must add a new lore hobbit. The only is avalaible is Bilbo, with +3 threat start level. No good. However, to change Fatty by Frodo sounds not bad. Frodo, however, is a little bit less threat , but ok. Frodo is good to defend first rounds, when still the out-of-sight or hobbit sense is not really ready.
