This deck was built for the Middle-Earth hero Auction. The total threat discount is four (two each for Beorn and Pippin).
The deck is very straightforward to play, just mass allies to do the work. Due to the lack of card draw, a lot of different allies are included.
Mulligan for King under the Mountain. Steward of Gondor is also good, and combat or questing allies, depending on the scenario.
Beware that the deck takes a while to get set up, Arwen or Galadriel may be better choices for the spirit hero slot.
Balin and Pippin quests, Beorn takes care of combat. The Honour Guards and Close Calls helps him survive, and when the bear is too damaged to defend, a Defender of Rammas with a Raiment of War attached takes his role.
This deck lacks location management, (other than West Road Traveller), as the spirit allies (Northern Tracker etc.) are too expensive.
Attach Steward of Gondor to Balin, as he will pay for his ability and the Sellswords.
Keep in mind that the deck was built using only one core set, and could be improved by adding multiple copies of some cards.
