I'm not the best deck builder, but this deck has been doing well for me. Could be fine tuned a little better and if I had a second core I would definitely add a second courage. Unexpected courage generally goes on Galadriel for questing and card draw/threat reduction, but I've thrown it on Legolas as well when I need to kill a lot.
Steward goes to Gimli.
Doubles feed Legolas discard ability.
I think the rest of the deck is pretty self explanatory. Abuse the readying of Legolas and Gimli for double (triple with courage) actions. Wardens of Helms deep are great to help Gimli out with defending. Warden of healing helps keep Gimli alive.
Most important cards for opening hand:
Galadriels mirror - Feeds the ability to get the other cards you need for the quest at hand. Arguably works better early game when hand size is larger.
Steward & Dwarven Shield or Unexpected Courage & Nenya

May 13, 2017I play a similar deck that seems to perform pretty well, though I have found that this hero lineup takes some time to get set up, so quests that hit fast and hard can be difficult with these guys. Here is the link if you want to check it out: ringsdb.com And |
Do you have The Dread Realm? If so, Elven Light would be an amazing addition.
