The idea behind this deck is to keep threat low and enemies trapped until Gandalf has every attachment he needs and a satisfactory amount of allies are on the field. Denethor will serve as the primary defender and, when he receives a copy of unexpected courage, he will be able to reveal and say “nope” to cards from the encounter deck.
