Braveheart321 3
Elrond is the crux of this biscuit: Elrond can pay for any ally and should be the target for Steward, as well Ancestral armor and armored destrier since he will be the primary defender as well. As both quester and defender, as well as Vilya user, Elrond will also need at least one UC and Steed of the Mark. Ideally, Dunhere should get both of the remaining UC’s so that he can attack the staging area twice. Amarthuil’s ability to pay for tactic cards once engaged with and enemy means careful timing in order to get spear of the mark and dagger of westernesse on Dunhere. However, Vilya also allows Elrond the ability to put these tactic attachments in play as well and for FREE (though a gamble).
So the starting strategy is this: mulligan for Vilya and steward so Elrond can start pumping out allies. From there, get UC’s and the armor, etc. while also saving for the weapons.
Additionally, I’ve included a mini Silvan strat: with Elven King, Elrond can ready up by putting either Rumil or Marksman back in your hand, ready to provide you with those bonus again when you put them back into play
Cool deck. I love seeing the different ideas people have. Unfortunately, you can't play The Elvenking on Elrond since he doesn't have the Silvan trait.
