Big D gets steward because of elven light car draw mechanic, which pairs very well with Beravor’s own mechanic.
Use Dunhere with Quick Strike to snipe enemies in the staging area during the quest phase, then ready him with unexpected to be attack with Gandalf (and Glorfindel when you get him) for maximum firepower.
Gandalf will be the prime defender, and, with his staff and armored destrier, he can so ‘nope’ to two shadow cards on two enemies AND still be ready to attack, in addition to questing if you include steed of the mark in your deck.
