This is simply a Treebeard deck that tries to maximize its ability by using Elf-Friend (inspired by its recent Card of the Day spotlight on the COTR discord). There's a ton of healing so that he can use his ability to the fullest every turn in questing and combat. Start with Strider, mulligan for Elf-Friend, hope that Song of Travel comes quick, otherwise the events are dead unless you don't play planning cards.

how can Legolas, Orophin, Rumil, O Lorien! and The Elvenking be played? for the characters there's at least The tree People, but the contract only allows the first non-unique card each planning phase to not require a resource match. As these are unique, it doesn't work with them.

@victarion_seaworth You are right, it needs to be tweaked to fix that. The deck doesn't really rely in any way on those cards, so it's not a big issue.
