As long as I've been a part of this game, I've really admired the Alt Art decks that float around. I struggled to come up with one that spoke to me (and had enough art), and I finally came upon this idea.
This deck is my tribute to one of my favorite video game series, The Banner Saga, by Stoic. While it might not be for everyone, the tactical gameplay depth and emerging narratives are extremely compelling to me, as is the art style. I'm really really happy with how this deck turned out, some of the cards like Traffic from Dale are eerily similar, and Lanwyn was just made to be Alette.
Deck Description
This Alt Art deck is really about one and one-third decks. I made very few modifications to the thematic Dale deck I took for inspiration, and since I wanted the deck to perform well against many quests if needed, I added a number of cards to the Sideboard so you can turn this deck into Seastan's incredible Dale Force Wins.
Both decks have great descriptions already, and many people are familiar with Dale decks. Mostly, I just hope you enjoy the art.
Collection Numbering Explanation
Rather than having all the cards in usual collection order by sphere, alphabetical, type, etc., I wanted to make all the chapter titles of the "Banner Saga" itself flavor text, so the cards are arranged in such a way that scrolling through them in order allows you to read the Ballad in full.
