– The All-Sphere Balance This build draws from every sphere, with Aragorn at the heart of its flexibility. By attaching Celebrián’s Stone to him, Aragorn can contribute resources to both Spirit and Leadership, unlocking the full potential of the deck. A core engine here is Beravor paired with Unexpected Courage, delivering a constant flow of cards through repeated actions. Additional draw comes from Gleowine and, at times, Gandalf. Events such as Stand and Fight and Will of the West extend your deck’s longevity—especially valuable in long campaign play, where replaying key allies and recycling your discard pile can be game-winning.
– The Synergy Engine This deck thrives on powerful card interactions. Sneak Attack plus Gandalf is a classic move, allowing you to either lower threat, deal targeted damage, or draw cards—choosing whichever effect the moment demands. Beorn combined with Sneak Attack provides an explosive answer to dangerous enemies, and if Beorn’s ability is used, Stand and Fight can bring him back into play. Economy is driven by Steward of Gondor, which may fuels our heroes alongside cards like Gondorian Spearman, Guard of the Citadel, and Faramir. Combined with the event For Gondor!, these allies can swing the tide of battle when the stakes are high.
– The Battlefield Controller If you want to dictate the flow of combat, this deck delivers. Henamarth Riversong gives foresight by revealing the top card of the encounter deck, allowing you to prepare for incoming threats. Rain of Arrows enables wide enemy damage, Feint provides a vital turn of safety by cancelling an enemy’s attack, and Forest Snare locks down the most dangerous foes indefinitely. With these tools, you’ll always be one step ahead of the enemy.
– Aragorn the Shield Aragorn stands as your main line of defense. To keep him in the fight, heal regularly with Daughter of the Nimrodel and equip him with Citadel Plate at the earliest opportunity. With boosted hit points and healing support, Aragorn becomes a reliable wall against the forces of darkness.
– Beravor the Versatile Beravor serves as the questing powerhouse, but her versatility allows her to defend or draw cards as needed. Equip her with Unexpected Courage to maximize her actions, Citadel Plate to survive heavier blows, and Celebrían's Stone to boost her questing capacity.
– Legolas the Finisher Legolas leads the offensive front. Blade of Gondolin ensures that his victories directly contribute to quest progress—placing 3 progress tokens after a successful attack can push a scenario forward at critical moments. Giving him Unexpected Courage allows for flexible turns—he can unleash Rain of Arrows to weaken multiple enemies, then still engage and finish a target in the same round.
