Gloin Never Forgets to Tip 1.0

This is a deck that is intended to maximize Gimli and Gloin's abilities through the use of the Bree undefended attack archetype, as the father and son duo head out for a night at the pub.

1) Maximizing Gimli/Gloin/Barliman's health.

First, I have several cards intended to increase Gimli, Gloin, and Barliman's hit points, thus allowing us to maximize their abilities. Citadel Plate, Vigilante Guard for Gimli, and Bree Pony for Barliman are the main pieces here. The healing also falls under this category with Warden of Healing, Pint, and Self Preservation.

2) Staying Alive Through Undefended Attacks

To ensure undefended attacks don't go wrong, on top of Harry I have Honour Guard, Vigilant Guard, Bree Pony, and A Stout Heart. Other shadow cancellation, or Loyal Hounds would be good ideas here as well.

3) Threat Reduction

With Bond of Friendship I start with high threat, so A Stout Heart, Gandalf, Galadriel's Handmaiden, and Favour of the Valar are here to prevent threating out.

4) Using Gloin's Money

I have two goals with all the resources Gloin will be generating. First is ensuring I can pay for cards in all 4 spheres. Narvi's Belt is the main piece, but A Good Harvest, Envoy of Pelargir (sending money to Gimli only) and Feast of Plenty all help with this as well.

Second is buying big payoffs! I have Gandalf, Treebeard, Knight of the White Tower, Firyal, Feast of Plenty, Citadel Plate, and Dwarven Sellsword as the big payoffs for all the resource generation.

5) Gimli's Attack

To make use of Gimli's large attack I included readying in Unexpected Courage, and Magic Rings. Quick Strike is also here if I don't want to deal with another undefended attack/shadow card.

6) Odds and Ends

The remaining pieces all serve smaller functions in the deck. Scheming Staddler and Archet Alekeeper are here for the undefended synergy. Card draw comes from Barliman, Gandalf, and King Under the Mountain. A Test of Will needs no explanation.
