The White Wizard 544
This is probably the only deck out there where Saruman is a key piece. Basically the deck involves getting out the big allies and buffing them with Narya. This is pretty standard. The main ally though is Saruman. He is extremely undervalued, especially when pairing him with Galadriel. With Galadriel and Narya, he can perform in all phases of the game! You want to mulligan for Narya and some big allies, preferably Saruman. The biggest problem the deck has is a lack of early game questing power. However, this is compensated by the fact that you can tread water for a few round with the ample threat reduction. It also helps to not save up for anything, but instead play cards whenever you can. The sideboard is for more questing power. I wanted the deck to be very thematic which is why the those cards are not included. Have Fun!

Sep 01, 2017Since you're not using any of Aragorn's toys, it might make more sense to add Eldrond in place of Aragorn and use Vilya to pop those big allies out for free. Fairly common combo of Gandalf/Elrond though and your threat will be up there. |
Sep 01, 2017I've actually built quite a few decks with that hero line up. The point of this deck is to do something different :) I actually made an edited version that uses Sword that was Broken and A Good Harvest instead of Flame of Anor and Word of Command. Will hopefully be up tomorrow. |
With a maximum of three Sarumans, it seems unstable to build a deck around him. I realize this is a powerful deck, but do you think recursion cards might be worth it?
