I like to take a theme thru a cycle. This was my attempt to continue my Gondor theme by escaping the spiders in Beneath The Sands.
Not a terribly strong deck, but winning about 33%. Not a big fan of this quest, as the final stage is too random for my taste and Pitch Black Tunnels is just a PitA card.
You really want Steward, Visionary or Faramir in your opening hand. (First win, I never saw Visionary.) Key here is to go very slowly on first stage and really get set up with several allies. Don't play Gondorian Fire until you're ready to make the final attack on the Brood Mother. Shadow effects in this quest really stink. Try to save Feint and Quick Strike for when you are On Track -- that will kill some of the worst shadow effects.
