Ent tri sphere, second deck ever 1.0

I don't know, good question. One point I have is that Snowmane isn't very good in this deck. The only thing you could do (unless I'm missing something) is have Eowyn ready after questing to attack for one, but that's not worth it. I would just add more Ent allies.

I was looking at beechbone and on this site his text does say “restricted attachments.” I’m not sure if there was an errata (I’m at work and haven’t looked) but it would be worth looking into. Ent Draught on him would be nice.

The “restricted” text is on the artwork itself; not the description text. I’ve noticed a few errors on this site that don’t match the text actually on the artwork.

The only reason I can think of for the Beechbone thing is that giving him an Ent Draught would get him to 6HP, which would then give him the potential to deal 5 direct damage to an enemy without dying. That would probably one-hit many enemies in the game, so maybe they thought that was overpowered?

@Mr Underhill Well the guy above me was right. If you actually look at the card, it is the same as all the rest. But the text that is written on this site is wrong and makes the distinction. So it seems like it is a pretty powerful combo, especially if you can keep healing one damage off with Warden of Healing and doing that combo every round.

Heh - time for a lie down. In this case it looks like a good combo!

Give Eowyn a Golden Shield and she can defend for five once, give her Herugrim and she can attack for five once. Either would justify combining with Snowmane, but Snowmane isn't much good until you do. Golden Shield is much cheaper, of course.

@dalestephenson I think those are both good ideas. The only problem I see, is cutting cards to get those in. I think in these Ent decks, the idea is to have the Ents do all the fighting right? I think the Shadowmane combo would be great, but maybe better suited for a deck that needs the hero's to do more of the heavy lifting?

Oh, absolutely. I have a weakness for unlikely hero combos, but in an ent deck there's not much point to trying to set up a two-card combo for Eowyn when you have all these lovely ents running around handling combat and questing. Derndingle Warrior + Wellinghall Preserver gives extremely good defensive coverage, Elrond can defend in a pinch, and you've got Eowyn's own boss-killing ability to fall back on to solve difficult early game problems, if necessary.

@dalestephenson Does this count as an unlikely hero combo? I think building an Eowyn, Eomer, and Theoden deck would be great use of those cards
