This is the deck I built to beat The Redhorn Gate solo, progression style. Look for Faramir and some combat capability in your opening hand.
I take things slowly on stage one and two, keeping my threat low as to avoid dealing with too many enemies and getting some progress on Caradhras with Northern Trackers. Once I think I have things under control, I advance and try to blow through stage three and Caradhras in one or two rounds. If one of the other locations with VP gets discarded, you've got Shadow of the Past to put it back on top.
