This is the deck I used to defeat the final quest of the LOTR Campaign. You can see a video of the final turn here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YM6cvtBw-hk&feature=youtu.be&a=
Basically, turn Sam into a questing machine. Use the Fellowship of the Ring and Frodo's Intuition to boost willpower and draw cards. Keep increasing Sam's Willpower until he can single-handily carry the load of the Fortitude tests.
A Watchful Peace is good tech against this quests if you are not engaged with an enemy. Power of Orthanc removes a game ending condition attachment.
Good luck!

Jan 17, 2018Exactly, I was only engaged with 2 enemies by the end of the game. With Sam able to ready when you engage and his defense boosted you can easily defend. You typically only have 6 rounds or so to win so its a race. Maximize your willpower, defend any enemies that happen to engage you (your low threat keeps most away), and use Sam to do everything. I had Mr. Underhill and Sam had the 2 boons that help him defend. |
Jan 17, 2018I like the idea and I never would have thought of it, but I do need to say that the text from the campaign setup for The Uruk Hai says to remove Gildor Inglorion and Mr. Underhill boons from the campaign. It seems you may have missed that. |
Jan 17, 2018NOO! crap. yes I missed that. sigh...... dang it. |
Jan 17, 2018It's all for naught now...the ring isn't really destroyed...you'll just have to try again! :P |

I have tried playing your deck as listed here and have a couple of questions.
Thank you again, and thanks for all of the work you and the others at COTR do |
Oct 14, 2018We Are Not Idle seems out of place. What do you typically use it for? Thank you! |
Did you just avoid engaging all the enemies and quest over them? If not, how did this deck kill anything?
