This is one half of a fellowship I used to coast over The Long Dark two-handed, progression style. Mulligan for one of your Tactics events or defensive attachments.
The main strategy is to kill enemies in the staging area before they engage while the other deck handles questing. Bilbo is the emergency defender with a Burning Brand, Boots from Erebor, and Ring mail. If enemies get through, Hama/Feint can deal with them.
