If you've been following my posted decks, you may notice this deck resembles a previous deck (http://ringsdb.com/decklist/view/111/this-is-my-orc-catchin-hand-cotr-deckbox-1.0). They are very similar decks. This one was actually the base for the previous one, which added in some threat abuse at the expense of some of the willpower strength. This deck produces stupid amounts of willpower. All of the heroes are competent questers, and there are a fair few widesweeping willpower buffs. Between Sword that was Broken, Visionary Leadership, Faramir, and Celebrian's Stone, it gets ridiculous. The action advantage on the three heroes also gives you a lot of questing power essentially for free.

This deck also has a solid Gondor core, with resource play and movement. Ideally, you want to get Steward of Gondor on Aragorn as soon as possible. Aside from the obvious resource generation, it also imparts him with the Gondor trait. In a best case scenario, Aragorn will have Celebrian's Stone, Sword that was Broken, and possibly Visionary Leadership, if Steward of Gondor is on. If not, VL can go on Imrahil without issue. If Faramir is also down, your heroes alone will quest for 17. In addition, the amount of cheap Gondor allies makes for huge willpower efficiency. The Errand Riders can quest for up to 3, Envoys up to 4, and hell, even the disposable Squires can provide useful will power. Though, we all know it's way more fun to feed them to the monsters.

Another strength of the deck is defense. The resource generation and fixing means that Blood of Numenor is particularly effective on Aragorn, or Imrahil if he's already sorted. I've had Aragorn up to ridiculous amounts of willpower and defense. Beregond would blush. Previous builds have had some of the Gondorish straight resource advantage, like Wealth of Gondor and Gaining Strength, but I replaced them for some card draw in Valiant Sacrifice and added back in Elrond's Counsel. I found that between Steward and Errand Riders, it's easy enough to get resources where they need to be.
