This deck was made for the battle of peleanor fields in my campaign. It is a standard Narya deck with a twist.

  1. It plays the palantir on Denethor. In the scenario the first quest stage gives you a free turn to set-up, which is important because of how tough the quest hits. The palantir is great at this moment because it gives some card draw to help find the pieces you need and since the encounter deck does not change on the next turn you can name exactly what is coming up. Plus it is crazy thematic to use the palantir and see what mordor is sending to battle. Once the deck is rolling, I stop using this card and have multiple forms of threat reduction to offset the threat raise.

  2. Jubayr with the tribesman and narya is amazing for big bad guys. With narya you not only boost Jubayr, you can ready and reuse a tribesman ability getting Jubayr to 6 defense.

  3. Steward is the most important card mulligan for it. It goes on Cirdan as he can play spirit and leadership cards. Also, having arwen as the Esquire of Gondor gives her an extra willpower when corman quests. Steward and dunedain remedy also help with archery.

  4. Draw. Elven light with steeds, we are not idle, cirdan, palantir, etc. all help get the draw and consistancy in the deck. Gandalf can de used for draw, threat reduction or pegging the wraith in the staging area.

I have beaten the quest with this deck, but I had an extra willpower and resource for questing successfully on cirdan. However, the deck should be able to beat the quest without those benefits. I also think that while built for one quest, the deck should be able to play others.
