The Aragorn deck quests precisely to rush the quest if needed but otherwise go slowly to have time to find athelas and other healing effects. At the same time the Aragorn deck uses its copies of A Test of Will, Dwarven Tomb and to a lesser extent Hasty Stroke to deal with the many damaging treacheries.

The beravor deck will draw cards and tries to find the Lore of Imladris cards to assist in healing. Denethor can peek at the encounter deck to help find Athelas cards.
