Description
This fellowship is focused on a variety of boosts.
Amarthiul: Gets defense and Attack boosts with a mount once an enemy is engaged. He gets Steward and Shield of Gondor to defend. Elfhelm: Uses mounts to boost all heroes in the categories most fitting for each hero. Theoden: Provides resource smoothing. Deorwine with Rainment of War becomes a sentinel shadow canceling defender. Rainment of War can also be placed on Warden of Helms Deep for more sentinel defense.
Aragorn: Artifacts and Roheryn give Aragorn a leadership, spirit, and tactics icon, and give him a boost to all stats. Arwen: Gives Aragorn a boost using Tale of Tenuviel. Arwen also provides resource generation and or card draw with Elven Light. Theodred: Helps generate resources. Faramir and Sword That Was Broken give even more willpower boosts. Protector of Lorien can be used to draw cards with Elven Light or to boost stats as needed.
Artifacts, Arwen, Theodred, and Errand Rider help with resource smoothing.
Along with the stat boosts Lore Aragorn allows you to use doomed cards for resource generation and card draw. He can then be passed to the player of the second deck using Desperate Alliance in order to lower threat for both decks.
Card draw, resource generation, and cancellation have been included as much as possible to allow all the boosts to setup.
The biggest weakness of this fellowship is the amount of time it takes to set it all up.
I like it! I've been futzing with Elfhelm a bit recently too. I like the idea of trying to combine him with Aragorn and all of his toys to give him +1 to all stats. That would combo well with Anduril too if you were playing the saga.
