2:00 AM, Rivendell. Elrond's breaking out his Cristal and calling everyone up, while Gandalf's packing a pipe. The resources are as smooth as the fine elven cordials being passed around.

This is a typical Gandalf/Elrond/Vilya deck with an emphasis on readying the heroes. Try to mulligan for Vilya, and get the pipe in play quickly. That's when the party really starts.

One helpful trick is to smooth resources from Glorfindel and Gandalf onto Elrond with Miruvor. This is best played after Expert Treasure-hunter comes out, so you can recycle Miruvor without wasting a card draw.

1. Play Miruvor onto Elrond.
2. Elrond drinks. He gains a resource and sends Miruvor to the top of the deck.
3. Gandalf plays Miruvor from the top of the deck onto Elrond.
4. Elrond drinks. He gains a resource and sends Miruvor to the top of the deck.

Alternatively, you first play Miruvor on Glorfindel, have him send it to Gandalf, who then plays it back on Glorfindel. He ends up with 2 resouces and Elrond with 1.

Once Vilya and Pipe are in play, the it's time to use Miruvor for an exhaust-free Vilya.

1. Play Miruvor from your hand onto Elrond
2. He drinks up, takes a resouce, moves the Miruvor to the top of the deck.
3. Using Gandalf, play Miruvor off the top of the deck onto Elrond.
4. Gandalf takes a smoke break, Exhausts Wizard Pipe to set up top card of the deck.
5. Exhaust Elrond and Vilya to play a card off the top.
6. Elrond drinks up, gains a resouce and readies.
7. You still have 3 resources to spend, probably on Lembas to cure those hangovers.

If you wanted to pass the drinks next round, Have Elrond send Miruvor back to the top of the deck instead of gaining a resource or readying up in step 6. Very helpful after you added Unexpected Courage to him with Vilya. It's also good to send to the top if you have a spare Daeron's Runes in hand.

Throw in Hidden Cache (stash?) to combo with Expert Treasure-hunter if you really need to party.
