The idea here is to keep threat low for as long as possible by using Merry. Find Treebeard, get him on the table asap. Use him to pay for Ents. Eventually, find one of the better allies (Legolas, or someone of his caliber) to Sword-thain. Always get Resourceful to start if possible. Mulligan for it.

Added Expert Treasure-hunter and Hidden Cache. 'Nuff said with Gandalf.

Also, the Wizard Pipe is pretty instrumental to this deck - make sure you get your hands on that so Gandalf can pay for more gear. Hopefully if you can't find it, then you have Bilbo who will help you fetch it.

I am looking forward to the next couple of packs that will offer new options for fewer than 3 heroes in your deck!

Cool deck! I like the usage of Gandalf with just Merry, playing with 2 heroes can be risky but certainly fun and enjoyable :). Great deck.
