This is really just a modification of one of the pre-constructed decks from the Two Towers box. I don't have a full collection - mostly rereleased stuff + the first two cycles and ALEP.

I found Merry hard to use with Treebeard. Early you are probably questing with the ENT and it's difficult to set up reliable double or triple kills with Treebeard. More often I found him supporting Legolas for double card draw.

Not sure how I feel about Elf Stone. Whoever made the instruction manual decks for the Fellowship and Two Towers boxes seems to really like it. It's not as hard to use as I suspected, but needing to wait a turn to trigger it when playing two handed didn't feel satisfying. Without it there is no way to generate the tactics resources for Legolas or Boromir.

Nob's cost reduction only works on Merry which is too bad - it would be cool if there was a way to grant hobbit trait to Tree Beard.

Nob is a pretty fun little draw engine though. He's cheaper than the ranger from the core box and he has some synergies with item cards that make him reliable. With a fast hitch you don't have to worry about wiffing the item draw to ready him after use and he can reliably help with questing.

Lots of healing for Tree Beard.

I haven't played with it much, but the one off grappling hook allows you to double up on Treebeards stat boost during questing. If needed it can be secured with Half Pint or Erebor Hammersmith. I don't have strong opinions about it yet.

Not a top tier deck, but fun enough. It killed the troll on Journey up the Anduin easily enough.

I don't know if I like it enough to keep working on it, but suggestions would be appreciated. :)

the Long Lake Trader can make it easier to get Treebeard drunk. he can swap the discounted beers from Merry to him.

in addition to Boomed and Trumpeted i would think about The Dam Bursts to give Treebeard the precious readying.

since you play with Alep use one of the most usefull cards: Seasoned Forager then The Dam Bursts is affordable.

and if not adding, then at least replacing Daeron's Runes with Drinking Song (if availaible)

I don't have Ered Mithrin yet, so I didn't think of trader and I completely forgot about Seasoned Forager.

This is great, thanks!
