Sub Vilya for the new Necklace of Girion. 1 cost, neutral. Guarded. Attached hero gets +2WP, additional resource each resource phase.

This is just a fun deck that explores the idea of the ranger Aragorn on his ventures protecting all of Middle-earth. Many of those times, he had to rely on his own with and abilities to see him through, and that's what this deck is all about. The thought is that, between Resourceful, Necklace of Girion, and Steward of Gondor, you should have as much resource acceleration as you could need. The events, DĂșnedain Pipe, and Rod of the Steward should provide enough card draw, both in the beginning and late game, to find what you need; I would mulligan for card draw over most anything else; though Song of Kings might be a close second.

Willpower is a little lacking early on, but that's why I chose Loragorn. If you can get everything out, you can hit up to 17WP, have enough attack to take out an enemy as soon as you engage it, and be able to ready just in case. Aragorn should also have 10hp, so hopefully archery damage won't be too much of a problem. Self Preservation and Magic Ring can consistently heal, and with Loragorn's ability, threat isn't too scary.

Haven't tested it out yet (don't have all the cards, nor access to Octgn), but it looks like fun.

One last thing I was trying to figure out was early resource acceleration, but I couldn't find something that would be able to help out turn 1.

Wow...this is ambitious. A one-hero, no allies deck...

Only Legacy of NĂșmenor could boost resources turn 1. But with only one hero it seems a bit wasted.
