Seosaidh 548

Seosaidh has a newer deck inspired by this one: Errantries of Aragorn

Mulligan for Strider and Elrond's Counsel. A Resourceful is also helpful, but less important than the Strider card. (Honestly, Elrond's Counsel isn't necessary until you want to go into secrecy in order to play the Resourceful, Courage Awakened, etc.). The idea is to power up Aragorn to massive levels, with Arwen acting as resource generation and questing support. With Tale of Tinúviel, Arwen can also help Aragorn in combat (provided that she is ready).

This deck probably needs to be paired with another deck that can cover for it while it ramps up, but once Aragorn is powered up, this deck should be able to hold its own quite well. If desired, the six allies (particularly Elladan and Elrohir when there are few or no orc enemies), can be swapped out for some of the sideboard cards.

For a full thematic win, pair with a Noldor, Dunedain, Rohan, or Gondor deck (since Aragorn joined all these factions during his travels prior to the Lord of the Rings).

Nice deck! Almost all 2-hero decks benefit from including Folco, but this one may particularly like him, as he can guarantee 1st-turn Secrecy in any quest that isn't immediately teched up against threat reduction. Or, as in most such decks, he can just pay for Strider.

@sappidus That's a really good idea. I think that I made this deck before I got Folco, but I likely wouldn't have thought of that anyway.

What? I don't want to pair it up, I want to try it solo! Looks like fun and it's great to see a thematic deck. You could say that Elrond was wary of Aragorn in the old days and so sent his best Noldor warriors to look after Arwen, hence you have the twins. Not sure I'm that keen on Sulien though, might replace with a different Dunedain or Noldor ally.

However, yeah in Solo I want every advantage possible so as silly as it is, Folco Boffin would have to make an appearance solely just to get discarded in Turn 1! Perhaps he's like an NPC travelling with Aragorn that he tells to "hide" every time danger comes!

Maybe instead of Súlien you might consider Galadriel to fetch out some of those important attachments and scry your deck at the same time?

@The Broken MeepleThe theme idea wasn't that Arwen was actually traveling with Aragorn, but was spiritually supporting him from Rivendell/Lorien. Regardless, Galadriel ally is a great idea. You're right that she could be a big help to grab the attachments.
