The original player encounter card. Its non-existent shadow effect is still an issue, however in higher player counts, this ally can definitely be part of your strategy, especially since the latest rulings on player cards in the encounter deck relaxed their constrictions somewhat. Not a card I would play outside of 3-/4-player games, but there it certainly has a place.
