Is no-one going to talk about how obviously good this card is? Osbera's versatility is top-notch, and she is always able to provide. I like to think about her as a 2/3/2/5 for 10 threat, because that's essentially what she is. I tend to think the front side is better because its effect is top notch; it just makes it feel like she quests for much higher. The ability on the back serves as an added bonus to give you more questing power when she flips, too, so whatever what side she's on, she is incredible. The flavor, power, and quality of this card are all bordering on the verge of perfection.
Osbera
Beorning.
Side A
Reduce the total in the staging area by 1 for each damaged Beorning character you control (limit –5 ).
Response: After you engage an enemy, spend 1 resource from Osbera’s pool to flip her.
Side B
Cannot have restricted attachments. If you are not engaged with an enemy, flip Osbera.
Response: Deal 1 damage to a Beorning character you control to cancel 2 points of damage just dealt to a character you control. (Limit once per round.)
“Not eaten up by Wargs or goblins or wicked bears yet I see.” —Beorn, The Hobbit
ALeP - Mustering of the Rohirrim #145. Lore.
Say you stick a restricted attachment on her lore side, does it disappear when she flips into tactics mode? Or do you get it back when she turns back into her lore version?
I'm wondering as I wanted to put a burning brand on her to defend against the lesser attacks but when I want to flip her I dont want to have to find a burning brand again...
Love this characters passive ability in lore mode. She really sets up a beorning deck.
