nttArc 238
We decided to take 2 spirit decks for lots of cancellation of all the treacheries, Eleanor too. Then choose the hobbits so we could fast hitch them. With the escape tests there is even more reason for action advantage with fast hitch, unexpected courage, et cetera. We wanted to start with lower threat so Eleanor and hobbits worked out well. We avoided a couple of the "if you have 35 threat or higher" treacheries this way and were able to leave a few of the low threat nasty enemies in the staging area because we kept our threat lower than their engagement cost (i.e. the worm). This scenario ended up being fairly easy even though these are admittedly not so optimized decks. The Leadership flavor we splashed in didn't even come up because we never grabbed the song. We did get Eleanor killed, although not our fault, treachery that discards an exhausted ally came up when I defended with Gleowine and he was the only exhausted ally, this caused the attack to resolve undefended and I had no choice but to kill Eleanor. This being said, we pushed for the win on the next round.
