This deck could really do with a decent name as it's been done better by others many times before. This is my very unoriginal take on the Gandalf + Hobbits Ent deck, used to beat Voyage Across Belegaer and The Fate of NĂºmenor.
Strategy? It pretty much plays itself. Get Treebeard out early and Gandalf's toys on, well Gandalf. Drawing 5 cards with Entmoot is always fun.
The Galadhrim's Greeting is probably only needed for me as I love to turtle with Ents and then smash through the quest with the whole army. Mostly I end up in the high 40's by the end, so these give me a bit more breathing room. More thematic alternatives might be Hobbit Pipes and Smoke Rings, but I'd rather mostly use Gandalf's ability to pay for more Ents over out-of-sphere stuff.

May 09, 2016Yeah, that's a good shout actually - didn't really consider it for some reason. More stuff for Master of the Forge to search for. Cheers |
May 09, 2016There is beauty in simplicity. Well done sir. |
May 10, 2016You are welcome. I think Favor of the Valar is more versatile since you don't have to rely Gandalf's ability and you don't need the sphere. Master of the Forge is just another benefit I haven't seen at my first post. |
Instead of The Galadhrim's Greeting you can use Favor of the Valar.
