This is a progression style deck for The Long Dark in solo.
Think The Long Dark is a boring quest? Spice it up with some song jank!
This deck isn't great, but it's fine against this quest and it presents some fun decision making.
General strategy: Bifur's ability is great in a mono-Lore song deck. With just 1 copy of Love of Tales, he is generating 3 resources/round for whatever sphere you currently have songs for.
Hero line-up: We want a mono-Lore deck to maximize the use of Love of Tales. Glorfindel is included for starting willpower and later for attack. Bifur is the resource hog, and Beravor draws into more Love of Tales and other cards you'll need.
Mulligan for Love of Tales, of course.
The interesting choices come in to play when you're deciding how to maximize your resource distribution and which sphere to save up for in any given moment. I've included heavy hitters from each of the spheres to make it worthwhile playing any of them.
You'll have plenty of extra songs/cards in your hand so use these to pass the Locate tests. Get some of these cards back with Erebor Hammersmith.
