This deck was made for Journey Down the Anduin solo.
A key strategy of this deck is the low initial threat level: it gives some time to beef up the team.
Another strategic choice is the high willpower of Éowyn, which was key to advancing fast along the Anduin (second quest card).
The Forest Snare is key to handling the Troll des Collines. I won without getting it on time, though, by confronting it, and using two successive Gandalf cards.
Being able to look in the encounter deck with Henamarth Riversong or Denethor was also very useful: it allowed me to plan precisely the quest and the following combats.
