I have always been intrigued by Treebeard but in actual games he has not been impressive. There are many reasons for this, which I won't bother going over. In any event this has been the deck that has given me the most success.
The key card is Lembas. It turns out that there is simply no other card that facilitates Treebeard power. The entire deck is built around playing Lembas as much as possible. Erebor Hammersmith obviously pulls it back into your hand, but Ered Nimrais Prospector is also there to shuffle it back into your deck. The more you can play it the more likely you are to have success.
Beyond spamming Lembas the deck just puts out a lot of cheap allies, mostly for questing, and healing. The deck has no resource acceleration so everything is low cost, nevertheless it is a good deck to run with a partner who can give you some money as well as Elrond support like Light of Valinor or Vilya. The great thing about this deck in multiplayer is that it uses almost no popular uniques and provides insane healing and defense. I hope you give it a try.
