Fredmans 102
Card pool almost complete up to the Dread Realm (minus 8 scenario packs), plus the Hobbit Saga and Black Riders.
First try with a Noldor deck. I use Fatty to keep threat low and a second Spirit resource if I draw a critical 3-cost spirit card in the opening hand (like Galadhrim's Greeting) + the fact that it is the Fellowship of the Ring quests, so the mere fact that he is a hobbit qualified him. I must say that I have never played a deck before where a hero has been so anonymous. Maybe he will rise to the occasion if I get the spare Imladris Steed out. I played the first quest of the Black Riders saga box and eventually made it through. I was almost location and black rider blocked, but a Northern Tracker and some Frodo's Intuitions saw me through the worst of it and I eventually sailed the Ferry at Threat 35/30. It takes a while to get accustomed to all the discarding, and I will most surely tweak the deck quite a bit. I intend to play the first scenario a second time, to make sure I did not play Hide and all the Hide modifiers hidden among the quest and location cards. The deck is a little light on defending, and I will see if I can address it.
