This is one of a pair of decks with cards through Against the Shadow and The Black Riders that focuses on dealing direct damage to enemies. This deck features Thalin along with all the tactics direct damage effects. Theodred is included for his low threat, resource acceleration and access to a few key leadership cards. I found that my initial version didn't quest well enough, so included a couple of willpower boosts from leadership. Legolas gets loaded up with all the attack buffs and hopefully a Mighty Prowess so he can also deal direct damage. While the idea of these decks is to have enemies die at the latest when you declare a defender, there are a couple of potential chump blockers here and in the other deck for when things don't go exactly according to plan.
