dalestephenson has a newer deck inspired by this one: PBF Watcher in the Water
Progression deck created to take on Redhorn Gate with Dain/Gloin/Bifur, it is a lore heavy deck reliant on Song of Wisdom and Narvi's Belt to turn leadership into Lore. Three copies of Faramir are included to enhance willpower, and in the third stage I expect Glóin to be primary defender (though if he can get Citadel Plate on him with Narvi's Belt he can take attacks undefended. Ever Onward is present to let us skip questing if we need to devote all our characters to combat.
I'm a mediocre LotR player and had to netdeck to beat this quest. But even I totally curb-stomped the Redhorn Gate with this deck. So much fun!
