Discard Pile

I built this for today's challenge: defeat The Deadmen's Dike with Na'asiyah. Looking at the encounter deck, there is a lot of punishment for characters who are in your discard pile. One easy solution was to make sure we never had that happen, using the Three Hunters contract.

Given that there is a deck-discarding mechanic, I wanted three Will of the West and three Dwarf pipes. Dwarf pipes meant I needed a Dwarf hero, and while there are some decent choices, I went with Gimli for the action advantage. Implementing the discard tech cards meant I needed a Spirit hero, so I went with Glorfindel, who is quite great, and let me put in a few more action advantage cards like Light of Valinor and some strong weapons like Rivendell Blade. Hidden Cache is good against this quest also, since it wants to hit your deck anyway.

I was able to win a pretty slow game, but I'm sure it can be tuned even stronger. Turtling on stage one while you get Na'asiyah set up to hit Thaurdir in one blow seemed to work out pretty well for me, and a well-timed Snowmane on Gimli meant that I was questing for quite a bit!

For my next quest, I'll try it against Under the Ash Mountains, which has a similar style of punishment, but I don't think it's quite strong enough to pull through. We'll see!

I hope you enjoy it; let me know what you think!

@jvaderapparently....by cheating, or as I prefer to call it, oversight. Good catch and thank you!
