A variation on my Sniper’s Hide Haldir Grey Wanderer deck that uses some low cost heroes to still help start in secrecy and stay low enough to avoid most enemies.
Setup you should mulligan for Resourceful, Rivendell Blade, and/or Bow of the Galadrhim. Firyal or Treebeard are also useful allies to begin the game with. Then choose the only Master Card in the Deck: Strength and Courage and attach it to Haldir to turn him into a 6 attacking hero right off the start. With an accompanying Rivendell Blade or Bow (or both with a golden Belt) played on subsequent rounds Haldir can easily be a 10 attack and dispatch most foes in the game without having to engage them. Eowyn and Smeagol are excellent questers and Firyal also helps while working doubly to keep Gollum from rearing his ugly head.
It’s a lot of fun to sneak around Middle Earth and snipe orcs, trolls, spiders and all other sorts of evil creatures. Haldir is one of the best heroes in the game and he really shines with The One Ring and Strength and Courage.

Instead of Rivendell Blade you could use some Dagger of Westernesse so that you can also give them to Eowyn in a pinch (also they work better against immune enemies which can be a problem for this deck I guess). Also a Golden Shield for Eowyn could be useful for those big enemies that might slip through.
Some copies of Proud Hunters could be useful too to pay for all those Lore cards.
