doomguard 1963

this is my version of a potent thalindeck.

benefits:

  • he quests naked for 3 (1 himself, +1 theoden, +1 dain) up to 11 (+4 from contract, +2 from celebrians stone + 2 from strider)
    1. round naked willpower of 6 and defense from dain
  • good chance for well equipped
  • 2 not very common heroes are used (thalin and theoden) and its no scrap
  • if needed 2 good defender (1 with sentinal) from the start
  • with cram on dain maximum of (11 thalin + (3+4)= 7 + 6)= 24 willpower
  • average chance flipp in turn 1, good chance flipp in turn 2
  • if dain is used in a different deck, replace with denethor(l) or armathiul (his bonus counts to all dwarfes)
  • kills all 1 hp-enemys on reveal (thalins ability)
  • in multiplayer, theoden and dain counts to all other tactik-heroes or dwarfs. recommend one other deck should use tacticgimli

flaws:

  • lacks readying, only ring and cram but armored destrider for multiple defense or attack after defense
  • no thread reduction except favour of the valar
  • high startingthread
  • need cram or magic ring (or readying from other player) to quest well and attack good. so, more a multiplayerdeck.

I like it. How about using Secret Vigil for threat reduction?

thins out the restricted attachements = later flipp of the contract

One copy of Ring of Thrór could be useful perhaps. For threat reduction I guess your only other options are Keen as Lances and Pillars of the Kings.
