A new take on the classic Fastred deck. I wanted to use the awesome new ALEP allies so I decided to forego the The Three Hunters contract though it is also powerful with this hero lineup. The "Devoted" keyword is amazing and significantly helps with resource smoothing. Still, resource acceleration is best to fuel Eomer. Allies come quick with Need Brooks No Delay so early questing is usually not difficult. Non-unique allies are 2-cost or lower while unique's are 3-cost.
A new mechanic is the Deeping Bowman and Deeping Defender which give the Fastred Archetype a huge boost and triggering card draw with Herubrand. The Bowman can help take out Trolls and other big enemies in the staging area. Gamling and Guthwine bring them right back. They are easily replayed with Devoted. the Deeping Defender is self-explanatory for the archetype which welcomes enemies in staging. They help Fastred take on several enemies per round.
So far it works quite well!
