I've had quite a bit of fun with this deck. With Aragorn bringing down enemies defense by one already, and being sure to have a resource on Grimbeorn the Old which also decreases one enemy's defense by two when using his ability, things can get pretty crazy.

On top of that, add Warrior Sword and Rohan Warhorse (which is basically Grimbeorn the Old's Unexpected Courage ) then he becomes a powerhouse. At one point I was able to get 2 Spare Pipe and Ent Draught on him bringing him to 9 hit points.

Arwen Undómiel and Elven-light help with card draw and resources being able to give one to Aragorn to pay for red stuff. She is also my main quester because I am usually able to get Windfola on her, and even use Aragorn to quest a lot as well since Grimbeorn the Old does most fighting.

Still I need up Aragorn some with attachments like Firefoot and Unexpected Courage so I can use him to fight some too.

Treebeard is a nice little defense, attack, or quest bonus and I can usually get home out there.

A nice little first hand would be 1 or 2 Elrond's Counsel and Dwarven Tomb could let you get up to 9 threat reduction for bascially one resource and also bosting your willpower that round on Arwen Undómiel.

All in all I've had a blast with this one, and it's worked with 2-player with my wife and just as well with solo. Might try and find a way to heal some, but ya can't have everything
