Here is a potent and fun solo secrecy deck that leans into threat reduction and Sam's innate ability. The basic idea is to use Galadriel to keep threat low enough to avoid engaging enemies until you have a host of powerful allies and mecha-Sam set up, then proceed to smash through them.
Principle 1: Card Draw You should be awash with cards with this deck. Don't rush the scenario early, as you will be getting stronger as the game progresses. Hold back using Galadriel's quest points and use her card draw/threat reduction instead. The Hobbit Pipes and Bilbo also help in the same way.
Principle 2: Resource Resourceful. Job done. This is another strong argument for using Galadriel's ability over her quest points early game if you can get away with it.
Principle 3: Mecha-Sam Nor am I a Stranger + Sam + Herugrim + Celebrian's Stone +Rosie = 5 quest and 8 attack per round. Beast!
If you can survive whilst getting this engine up and running, you have a heck of a powerful setup on your hands.
