This is an update of a secrecy deck I published a while back, but with some significant changes as I have expanded my card pool. The principles of the deck is simple and I have found it to be very powerful.
Principle 1: Galadriel Her main job in the early part of the game is to reduce threat, keep you in secrecy and draw cards. When you have a good range of allies out (or you have Unexpected Courage and Nenya on her) you can also start using her to quest as well.
Principle 2: Allies Mulligan hard for the secrecy allies and Timely Aid. Get some high cost allies down ready to get the most out of A Very Good Tale so you can have a snowballing board presence.
Principle 3: Sword-thain has a few good targets, especially Faramir and Rosie Cotton. You want to save one of your Unexpected Courage to get the most from them. Sneak Attack can help reduce the cost of this.
Principle 4: Super Sam My favorite combo of this deck. Get Nor am I a Stranger and Herugrim on Sam and watch him slice through some of those bigger bads like butter. Remember he gets double bonus for his readying effect when he has Herugrim attached, and Rosie Cotton + Galadriel can give him an attack that would made even a Balrog think twice.

Folco could give you an extra resource turn 1 and maybe even 2WP before being turfed for threat reduction?..
