This is a solo saga deck. What if Gandalf had made it back to the shire before Sam and Frodo left. This thematic inspired deck is fun to run in saga quests. In terms of strategy getting the Wizard Pipe in as soon as possible is most important. With a mulligan and a face up card thanks to Gandalf this shouldn't be too hard. Also it is possible to get Daeron's Runesor The White Councilface up, which should help. From there Bilbo Baggins, pipes and Smoke Rings should help maximize Sam Gamgee and Dagger of Westernesse lower threat advantage. I'm curious to see how far I can get with this in saga.
I saw your post on Instagram. This looks fun. I've been running a Gandalf /Sam/Merry deck through s bunch of quests and while we have two of the same heroes, these decks would work very differently! How is the resource smoothing? Hats what I would worry about most going into this deck.
