I'm not going to pretend to be particularly good at deck building but I wanted to make a self-sufficient dwarf deck that could solo if necessary and would definitely contribute to the group. this is what I came up with so far.

neat plays: popping out ered luin miner as an extra ally off of your "a very good tale."

(rinse and repeat for nearly no cost with the tome)

I like setting up a miner off of your well equipped. this could be done with a stargazer of course, but is especially satisfying from a first turn Galadriel.

we are discarding, so I put in a single will of the west.

Ideally, the deck just pumps out a ton of dwarves super fast to deal with imminent threat and eventually dominates the quest. My main objective was consistency, shadow mitigation contribution for the group and speed.

some credit to those who have done this kind of deck before in different ways. Beorn for reinforcements hijinks and either Robert or Steve for dwarfy goodness.

Did you consider including Hidden Cache?

I had it in there up to the end. Ultimately I decided it was still not reliable enough and that I was already getting free money in other ways such as we are not idle which can be recycled via tome, healed damage to Gloin and then of course the free allies and attachments. As much as I thought hidden cache was a staple in this deck, it didn't make the cut yet again.
