hawkeye007 has a newer deck inspired by this one: CON HON Deck1 Tanks A Lot - Beregond Erkenbrand Halbarad

Possibly a Con of The Rings deck. Deck made for 3 to 4 players in mind. Going to experiment with it. Intent is to have Beregond and Erkenbrand tank and take advantage of Halbarad's ability to optionally engage 2 enemies and not exhaust during quests when enemies are engaged.

Mulligan for Steward of Gondor which will be assigned to Halbarad. Gondorian Shield and Armored Destrier will go to Beregond and Erkenbrand. Sword of Numenor to Halbarad and/or hit Gondorian Fire and attach to Hal as well.

Allies are intended to generate a few resources for Halbarad, soak damage, and/or help with engagement control. Events are mainly for Engagement Control or Card draw with a chance for the Sneak Attack / Gandalf combo. Man the Walls thrown in because of the player count.

Any feedback appreciated. Obviously this deck won't stand on it's own. Will need healing and threat control in particular (should I include Secret Vigil - another card whose power increases at higher player counts?). Thank you.

I like the idea for this deck. I made one with similar aims that I plan to bring to the Con as well: ringsdb.com

I'm wondering if you need the ability to engage that many enemies since two of your defenders have Sentinel?

That's a great point. Tireless Hunters probably not needed as well. Plus Halbarad can already optionally grab two baddies out of the staging area. Although Halbarad's second ability - doesn't tire when questing if engaged with enemy - may need a little help to maintain with some engagement control. Definitely room to be tweaked and I'd really like to make room for Secret Vigil which I feel almost obligated to do with a tactics hero.

I think you could drop Sword of NĂºmenor and Foe-hammer. I know it's card draw, but only having 2 weapons in your deck doesn't seem like it would be consistent enough.

Sterner than Steel could be an option for Beregond. Also, I don't know if you want more armor and stuff for both your defenders, but right now you only have Gondorian Shield
